Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Your adventure begins in Entebbe, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to a peaceful guesthouse. Take time to relax and recover from your international flight, perhaps with a refreshing dip in the pool or a quiet evening in the garden, before your safari begins.
Day 2 - 4: Kibale Forest National Park
Journey through Uganda’s scenic countryside to Kibale Forest, home to the country’s highest concentration of primates. Accompanied by an expert guide, you’ll trek through the rainforest in search of wild chimpanzees, along with bush pigs, forest elephants, and rare bird species like the great blue turaco. Explore the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a birdwatcher’s paradise rich with biodiversity.
Day 5 - 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Travel south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, specifically the Ishasha Sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy exciting game drives to spot elephants, buffalo, and lions, as well as a tranquil boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, which is teeming with hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds.
Day 8 - 10: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Head to Bwindi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Trek through the misty rainforest for an unforgettable encounter with a gorilla family. When not trekking, visit nearby communities or take a guided forest walk to learn more about the region’s ecology and culture.
