Details & Itinerary
Day 1 – Entebbe:
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.
Days 2 – Bwindi Forest National Park:
After breakfast drive through the scenic countryside to Bwindi Forest National Park. Bwindi, one of the richest ecosystems in East Africa, is home to over 120 mammals, 345 species of birds, 200 species of butterflies, and 160 species of trees. In the afternoon you can relax in your lodge, enjoy forest walks, visit a local school or orphanage or the Batwa pygmy village.
Days 3 & 4 – Bwindi Forest National Park:
Strap on your hiking boots for a full day of adventure. Hike through the rainforest accompanied by professional guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The hike is physically demanding but the beauty of the forest and sightings of the mountain gorillas makes the trekking worthwhile.
Days 5 – Bwindi / Entebbe:
After breakfast bid farewell to your forest friends and travel to Entebbe for your onward arrangements.
